Become a reviewer
So you think you’ve got what it takes to be a reviewer?
The truth is, with a little practice, almost anyone with at least one nostril and a tongue can become a whisky writer. What we want to see is a flair for describing your experience in the written form. The aim is to provide your fellow whisky enthusiasts with useful information to guide them in their journey of discovery and enjoyment.
Send us your review and we’ll see if you’ve got what it takes to become part of our team of dedicated reviewers. We will be compiling an initial team of 10 and are looking for a mix of seasoned whisky enthusiasts and people who work closely with whisky on a regular basis. Please let us know why you think you are qualified to join the team.
Ideally your review will be under 200 words and will be broken down into Colour, Nose, Taste, Finish and Balance/Complexity. You will score the whisky out of 100, with a maximum of 25 points each being awarded respectively to Nose, Taste, Finish & Balance/Complexity. You may like to add a 6th section under Comments.
As the website progresses we will be looking into the possibility of sending out specific whiskies for reviewing to the most senior writers in our team.
So, what are you waiting for? Get writing!!
